On January 10th, 2024 a random selection of citizens of Mostar was carried out. As a reminder, 276 citizens of Mostar registered to participate, out of which 40 members with 8 alternates who will take part in the Citizens’ Assembly, have been randomly selected to take part in the Citizens’ Assembly. Selected citizens will deliberate upon and make recommendations on the topic from the strategical area of economy and tourism- „Tourists are staying in Mostar shortly and thus don’t bring significant profit to the City. How could we achieve that tourists stay longer in Mostar and therefore contribute to the economical development of Mostar?“ over three weekends in January and February 2024. The recommendations will be presented to the City Council of Mostar.

While applying for participation in the Assembly, the citizens of Mostar entered unique verification codes that served for their identification, to ensure the impartiality and transparency of the process.
Selected citizens will be contacted by the Coordination Team of the second Citizens’ Assembly by Monday, January 15th of 2024.
