On 10 May 2021, a consultative meeting was held with the local representatives of the City of Mostar, aiming at selecting the top 3 topics that will most improve the life quality of the citizens of Mostar, out of the 6 previously voted by the representatives of the civil society and the academic community.

A workshop with representatives of the civil society and academic community. On 4 May 2021, an online workshop was organised with representatives of the civil society and academic community from the City of Mostar, as part of the process of the selection of the topic for the Citizens’ Assembly.

Congress engages with new municipal. On 3 March 2021, the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities organised an online event on deliberative democracy with the newly elected Mayor and local councillors of the City of Mostar. The Mayor of Mostar, Mario Kordić, welcomed the Council of Europe initiative and support and stated they were looking forward to “working ahead towards a deliberative process”.
