Oversight Team of the second deliberative democratic process in the City of Mostar held its first meeting on October 19, 2023.

Composed of the 11 representatives from the City Council of Mostar, the Office/Secretariate of the Mayor, civil society organisations-NGO’s and informal groups, as well as representatives of the academic society, the Oversight Team is a part of the governance structure of the Mostar Citizens’ Assembly.

Oversight Team members were informed of the progress of preparation for the Assembly that will deliberate during three weeekends in January and February 2024.

Oversight Team adopted Citizens’ Rulebook and well as topic of deliberation. They also agreed on internal decision-making and communication procedures.

The second Citizens’ Assembly is carried out within the projects „Innovating democratic participation at local level in Bosnia and Hercegovina“, implemented by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities within the Council of Europe Action Plan for Bosnia and Herzegovina 2022-2025.
