From 10 to 20 May 2021, NGOs, civil society organisations as well as unformal groups from the City of Mostar had the possibility to each propose one member to the Oversight Team of the project – “Building democratic participation in the City of Mostar”. Participation in the Oversight Team was conditioned by active engagement within the administrative borders of Mostar.

By 20 May 2021, the project team has received five applications, from the following organisations:

• Citizen’s Initiative of Mostar
• PRONI Centre for youth development – Mostar
• Local Democracy Agency Mostar
• The Youth Council of the City of Mostar
• Citizens Association “Nešto više”

Based on the provided documentation and on the criteria defined in the notice, and in accordance with the conditions defined in the Mostar Citizen’s Assembly Rulebook, it was concluded that all five applications fulfil the criteria and therefore the applicants are selected to the Oversight Team.

The Oversight Team will oversee the deliberative process and ensure that the deliberation on the chosen topic, complies with the Assembly standards and rules. The first meeting of the Oversight Team is planned for June 2021, before the Citizen’s Assembly.
