On 14 July 2022, the City Council of Mostar, at its 24th regular session, presented the first Report on the Implementation of the Action Plan for the implementation of the recommendations of the Mostar Citizens’ Assembly (item number 15). The report was presented by the President of the City Council of the City of Mostar, Mr. Salem Marić and councilor Haris Nazdraić. Following the presentation and discussion, the Report was unanimously accepted by the city councilors, with accompanying conclusions for the purpose of: intensifying the implementation of the remaining recommendations, answering the councilor’s question (Vesna Šunjić), and submitting the next implementation report -by the end of the year.
The Council of Europe is currently supporting the City of Mostar in the amount of EUR 35,000, through direct support for the implementation of part of the recommendations of the Citizens’ Assembly. Next year, the City of Mostar is expected to independently organize a Citizens’ Assembly with the support of the Council of Europe.
